Consultancy services to undertake a Comparative Study on port Logistics for Perishable Exports. The study assessed the performance of the logistical systems in the gateways particularly of the Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), Songwe Airport and Mwanza Airport as well as on the sea port of Dar es Salaam and bench marked with well performing ports and airports with other countries that have more efficient and well-integrated logistical systems such as in Kenya (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Mombasa Port),South Africa (OR-Tambo International Airport and Durban Port) and Ethiopia (Addis Ababa Bale International Airport and the Cool Chain Logistics in Addis. The study focused on Dar es Salaam Corridor linking Tanzania to Zambia, Malawi and DRC as well as Central and Northern Corridor linking Tanzania to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
